I created this short film as my final project ofDTC 435 (Advanced Animation) at Washington State University Vancouver.nnA glow in the serene midnight awakens a boy. Cautiously he approaches the fireplace—ignoring the wishes of his mother—to examine the curious luminescence, when brilliant apparitions of fish spiral forth. As the ghostly arowana encircle him, he begins to rise into the air, joining them in a playful dance. Sudden footsteps and flash of light from the hallway alert the boy;

I got the inspiration from Pixar's Luxo and Luxo Jr. characters. The inspiration was also a luxo lamp because I own one that I see everyday. While I didn't model the lamp to mine exactly, I wanted to draw inspiration from both the real thing and the Pixar characters.
