#Shivers is a #1975 Canadian #science fiction body #horror film written and directed by David Cronenberg. The film follows a scientist named Dr. Emil Hobbes who develops a sexually transmitted parasite that takes over the host's mind and turns them into a sex-crazed zombie. After Hobbes infects a young woman named Annabelle and then commits suicide, the parasites begin spreading rapidly through a luxury apartment complex called Starliner Towers near Montreal.
