The historical drama, which ran for 6 seasons before concluding in 2022, is returning to the screen as a Netflix film. Murphy, who starred in all 6 seasons of the original series will return as his character Tommy Shelby. Netflix revealed his return in a social media post featuring a photo of the script and a quote from the actor, writing 'It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders.
